Explanatory is a program where fine art works meet with the practice of creating works of performing arts. The performance work is the result of short-term research by performing artists in exploring, interpreting and formulating a new performance.
The second year of this program will present four artists, two of whom are artists with disabilities. They are Arif Wicaksono, Deni Septyanugroho, Densiel Lebang, Abi Muhammad Latief, Dayu Prisma. This formulation is based on the notion of inclusivity and equal access by agreeing that the exchange of ideas and the facilitation of a creative process are the rights of anyone with any background. The four artists will undergo a process from the beginning of July to the presentation of their works in the third week of August 2023 which will be presented in ARTJOG 2023 exhibition space.
