Klinik Rupa Doktor Rudolfo

In the past, when he was still in college, Tanto was not taught pencil shading and watercolour techniques, so he later learned these techniques himself and now shares his knowledge with his students. As a result, Tanto found many people from several small towns who had talents, but were constrained by the right mentor to hone those talents. The discovery of hidden talents is what makes Tanto always passionate about reviewing works uploaded by fellow Instagram users. In fact, in addition to online courses, Klinik Rupa Dokter Rudolfo c also opens face-to-face classes, with a duration of around three hours for each session. According to Tanto, a great artist does not only lie in the ability of his/her/their hands, but in the ability to observe/observe the objects he/she/they would draw.

In addition to creating works, Tanto also teaches courses and writes fine arts blogs at Klinik Rupa Dokter Rudolfo. During ART JOG 2025 event, Tanto will provide a realistic painting workshop to selected participants, with tools and materials from Royal Talens. Tanto is the brand ambassador of Royal Talens, a manufacturer of fine arts tools and materials from Apeldoorn, Netherlands, for the period 2022-2025.

Klinik Rupa Dokter Rudolfo (KRDR) is a virtual studio that started being active on Instagram in October 2014, aimed as a medium for anyone interested in learning to draw and paint in the discipline of realism, with a focus on portraiture using graphite pencil and oil paint. KRDR was founded by R.E. Hartanto (Tanto), born in Bandung, 1973. Tanto received his fine arts education at Painting Studio, Fine Arts Department, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Bandung Institute of Technology (1992-1998) and Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten, Amsterdam, Netherlands (2001-2002). He twisted R.E.'s first name (Ristyo Eko) to be an abbreviation of Rudolfo Eduardo, so that's where the name dr. Rudolfo came from.
