ARTJOG KIDS facilitates children's works and activities to promote diversity and equality. This program is designed to introduce contemporary art and provide a space for them to learn art at an early age.
To fulfil this goal, ARTJOG Motif: Ramalan features artworks by 36 children and teenagers selected through an open call. ARTJOG believes that children can offer a unique and fresh perspective on everyday social and cultural issues, create a deeper emotional connection with the audience, and open a dialogue space to exchange new ideas and conversations.
In collaboration with Sekolah Murid Merdeka and Sekolah Cikal, the ARTJOG curator team and Heri Pemad have selected three ARTJOG Kids Award winners. All three were selected based on the criteria of different age groups, thematic aspects, concepts, imagination, narrative, and strong knowledge.
