Samuel Kennedy Yohanes was born in 2008 in Surabaya (East Java).

As a child, Kenny was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder by a doctor. It is difficult for him to focus and he also has difficulty with oral motor disorder especially speaking.

Just this past year, Kenny started studying drawing/painting with a fine arts teacher. From this painting, Kenny became a better person. He who previously did not want to hold a pencil to write (study) for a long time, now he can draw with a pencil or a brush for hours. Kenny seems very interested in various shapes and colors which he puts into his work. Through painting, Kenny can also channel his emotions, so that his works is an expression from Kenny’s inside world.

According to Hari Prajitno M.Sn (an author, a curator of MDTL Yogya and AKSERA Surabaya), Kenny's vision is for the "interests of liberation", voicing desire, calling out the depths of human nature, the urge to always speak out, express whether anything heard or ignored. Kenny no longer uses his mind to create, he has a talent to be expressed as soon as possible. It is a form of transformation of the subconscious world, spontaneous, explosive, lack of control of the mind as its purity. The outpouring comes from a pure spring as "true", a form of awesomeness, authentic purity, and creative truth as art.
