Emily Yoselin

Nice to meet you, my name is Emily Yoselin. I am 15 years old and studying at Bukit Sion School, Jakarta. I've had my hobby of drawing since I was 5 years old because its very interesting and enjoyable. I always feel happy whenever my artworks are included in various competitions and exhibitions. I hope to always learn and develop my abilities so that my artworks can be enjoyed by many more people!

Because the amount of waste continues to increase, I hope for a dedicated program in the future to repurpose trash into something useful. That way, I am certain that every person will make something impactful. In my artwork, I've depicted two different sections of colors. The top section is made up of waste from the past that has destroyed Earth. Meanwhile, the lower section shows the result from various forms of waste that have been repurposed and can be re-used. There is also a clock behind a green bottle that symbolises observers that have travelled to the future to predict what will happen to the waste.
