Korekayu (read: korek kayu) is an oldies pop sextet from Yogyakarta formed in 2012. It consists of Afon (vocals, guitar), Bondan (vocals, guitar), Lukas (vocals, guitar), Yusti (vocals, keyboard), Bagas (bass), and Alvin (drums). The band has released the EP Retrorika Metropolitan (2016), the LP Romansa (2020), and the LP Verhaal (2025).

Showcasing their latest album, Korekayu invites the audience to dive into a journey across time with the sweet chimes of the '60s, the soulful harmonies of the '70s, and the romantic rhythms of the '80s. Each song performed is not only entertainment but also marks a historical moment in various love stories that now only leave an echo.
